Mr. Bedoya Escurra is specialized in Civil Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Criminal Litigation, Constitutional Law, Law of Constitutional Procedure and Municipal Law. His work focuses on the initiation, follow-up and evaluation of all kinds of proceedings, including arbitration, acting as legal counsel for the plaintiff or the defendant. His work includes the negotiation, mediation or court or out-of-court conciliation of the claims in dispute, as well as the preparation of procedural strategies for the suitable protection of the rights of each client.
From July 1997 to April 2004, he was member of Estudio Bedoya Abogados S. Civil de R.L., where he worked in the above-mentioned practice areas.
His practice has encompassed litigation in civil and labor proceedings, as well as in civil rights actions before the Jesus Maria District Council ( Lima ) from 1998 to 2002, when he was a member of the team of advisors to the High Management of such Council.
Moreover, Mr. Bedoya Escurra was a member of the Editorial Committee of Advocatus Magazine (January-December 1994); served as assistant professor of the Civil Law (Nominate Contracts) Course at Universidad de Lima (August 1995 - December 1996); and joined the "B" Criminal Law Consulting Committee of the Lima Bar Association (2002).
