Mr. Morris' principal expertise is in Tax Law, International Practice and Commercial Law. He advises companies in consulting, tax planning, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and contentious tax proceedings.
He served as professor of Tax Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (1986-1988).
In 1988, he moved to Madrid (Spain) where he practiced law for five years. This experience allowed him to actively participate in transactions among a variety of foreign companies, advising clients in aspects related to local and international taxation.
Since 1987, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Instituto Peruano de Derecho Tributario (Peruvian Institute of Tax Law), and was elected vice-president for the April 2005-May 2007 period.
Moreover, he held the position of vice-president of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), Peruvian Group (2002-2004). Memberships Lima Bar Association. Madrid Bar Association (1990-1994).
