Experience

Mr. Castle’s expertise is related to customs activities and foreign trade, with special incidence in assessment work, customs compliance, support on customs auditing processes (originated by SUNAT), assessment in challenging processes in presence of Customs and the Tax Court, legal auditing (Due Dilligence), among others.

Helds the position of Associate at Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados since March 2007.

Previously, he has worked as a senior lawyer of Foreign Trade and Customs Area in Ernst & Young, and was a trainee in Estudio Muniz, Forsyth, Ramirez, Perez-Taiman and Luna Victoria Abogados and in Estudio Navarro Abogados.

During his professional experience in Foreign Trade and Customs he has given legal advise to clients in mining, fishing, energy, consuming, hydrocarbons, telecommunication, pharmaceutical areas.

Dr. Charles Castle has participated, as well, as an exhibitor and panel discussion member in forums related to Foreign Trade and Customs issues and has been a teaching assistant in the “Internacional Commerce Law” course in Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas – UPC.
