Experience
Mr. Ferrero has held the position of counsel in Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados since January 2005. His principal expertise is in Mining, Corporate and Administrative Law, as well as in Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Laws.
His practice encompasses corporate and commercial advisory, and has represented clients in matters such as natural resources, and mining concessions, as well as in mining and administrative proceedings before the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
His work also involves the development of due diligence processes, as well as the structuring and negotiation of joint venture and similar contracts for the exploration and/or exploitation of natural resources, in addition to shareholders' agreements for mining transactions.
Mr. Ferrero was a member of the managing board of Advocatus, a law review edited by the students of the School of Law of Universidad de Lima, as Edition and Content Director (July 2003 - January 2004).
He also worked at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights of the Organization of American States in Washington D.C., United States (January - March 2003).
