Experience

Javier Calmell del Solar works as counsel in Rodrigo, Elías y Medrano Abogados since November 2006 and his principal expertise is in Commercial Law .

His work focuses on providing general legal advice to companies. He also advises clients in mergers, acquisitions, business reorganization transactions and corporate finance.

He worked as associate attorney at Estudio Pizarro, Botto & Escobar, and also received practical instruction at Banco de Crédito del Perú, Bullard, Falla, Ezcurra & Rivarola Abogados and Hernández & Rosselló Abogados.

In addition, he served as Director of Themis – Revista de Derecho, a law magazine edited by the students of the School of Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Likewise, he has been an assistant professor of Contract Law and Commercial Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
