| Experience Mr. Chabaneix has extensive experience in Commercial and Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, Export Projects and Aircraft Financing, Oil and Gas, Banking, Mergers and Acquisitions, International Practice and International Trade. He has extensive experience in privatization processes and has been appointed as an arbitrator in dispute settlement proceedings on investment before ICSID. A major part of his work focuses on advising foreign clients in international transactions. He has represented clients in a variety of transactions regarding the creation and acquisition of multinational and local banks, as well as acquisitions or sale of important companies engaged in various fields such as electricity, mining, industry, trade, construction, education, pension funds and railways, among others. Moreover, he has significant experience in several financing transactions, having participated in important borrowing and stock market transactions such as the financing of the Camisea Gas Project and the national interconnected system network for the distribution of electricity, among others. Mr. Chabaneix has participated in the negotiation and closing of international contracts of different kinds, particularly financing contracts, including joint ventures, licensing and franchises, purchase of commodities and acquisition and lease of aircraft. He has served as foreign lawyer at Shearman & Sterling (New York, 1995), and as professor at Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón (Lima, 1991) and Universidad de Lim a (1989-1990). Most recently, Mr. Chabaneix has taught the Oil and Gas Law Course at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas , and the Project Financing Course included in the Commercial and Financial Law Program of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú .
