Mr. Tam's principal expertise is in Civil and Criminal Litigation, Constitutional Law, and, in general any kind of proceeding, including arbitration. His work is related to the initiation, follow up and evaluation of dispute settlement proceedings of all kinds (civil, criminal, contentious-administrative, constitutional and arbitration). His work often focuses on the negotiation, mediation or out-of-court or court settlement of the claims in dispute; as well as in the preparation of the most convenient procedural strategies for the suitable protection of the rights of each client. He has also participated in civil and criminal proceedings derived from conflicts between the shareholders of Compañía Minera Milpo and UCP Backus & Johnston. Mr. Tam is a professor of the Litigation Course at Universidad de Lima and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas , and is a speaker at conferences on matters within his expertise. In 2004, he collaborated in training courses addressed to candidates applying for admission to the Magistrate Academy. He has pursued graduate studies in Litigation at Universidad Complutense de Madrid , and is currently preparing his dissertation to apply for the appropriate degree. Memberships Lima Bar Association.
