Experience
Mr. Rodrigo Mazuré is an expert in Tax and Mining Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, International Practice and Corporate Law, and one of the founding partners of Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados, both of the Lima office (Peru) in 1965, and the Madrid office (Spain) in 1973.
He has practiced law uninterruptedly since 1953, and served, between 1995 and 1997, as Foreign Legal Consultant in Florida County (United States of America).
His professional practice has encompassed the preparation of the most important mining exploration and exploitation contracts executed in Peru, providing advisory to American, Canadian, European, Australian and South African companies.
Mr. Rodrigo Mazuré has also led various mergers and provided guidance in the restructuring of companies, as well as in the application of tax policies and international transactions in Peru and Spain.
Moreover, in recent years he has served as chair of the Tax Committee and is a member of the Executive Board of Sociedad Nacional de Minería, Petróleo y Energía (National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy), where he actively participates and plays a leading role.
