Experience

Nicolás Cornejo works as counsel in Rodrigo, Elías y Medrano Abogados and his principal expertise is in Commercial Law (Corporate Law, Contracts, Banking, Securities Market and Bankruptcy).

His work focuses mainly on providing general legal advise to companies, as well as on corporate and project finance operations, mergers and acquisitions.

Moreover, he participates in the design of the most convenient legal structures for companies initiating activities, so as in the answering of queries.

Mr. Cornejo received practical instruction at the Procedural Law Department of Payet, Rey, Cauvi Abogados (September 2001 to December 2002) and in the departments of Mining Law, Custom Law and Commercial Law at Rodrigo, Elías y Medrano Abogados (April 2003 to December 2005).

In addition, he was a member of Themis, a law magazine edited by the students of the School of Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2003).
