Experience

Mrs. Muñoz is specialized in tax law and tax planning, with concentration on international taxation matters, including particularly transfer pricing and double taxation issues.

She assumed different positions of great responsibility in the Peruvian Tax Administration for almost 12 years. She has been Manager of the Legal Tax Department in the Large Taxpayers Administration, Professional Senior in the Tax Regulation Management. Member of the Committee for Mining Corporations and Chief of the Division of Legal Tax Disputes.

During those years is relevant her role during the Fiscal Reform of the Income Tax (2003), in which she was pointed as the General Coordinator of the Income Tax technical team, participating in the proposal of national regulations related to sourcing rules, capital gains, taxation of financial institutions and investors, transfer pricing and other international matters.

She is currently a professor of the course "Taxation of Financial Transactions" in the Masters in Laws and Tax policy Program of the University of Lima.
