Experience

Ximena Aramburú works as counsel in Rodrigo, Elías y Medrano Abogados since May 2007. Her principal expertise is in Competition and Intellectual Property.

Her work focuses on advising clients on Industrial Property Rights, Trade Marks, Copyrights, Unfair Competition, Advertising and Consumers Protection, as well as on the development of administrative proceedings on those maters.

She worked as junior assistant (2006-2007) in the Unfair Competition Committee of Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (Indecopi) [National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property].

She was an intern in the referred Committee (2005-2006), as well as in Estudio Rubio, Leguía, Normand y Asociados (2004-2005).

Likewise, she has been teaching assistant of Market Law of Instituto San Ignacio de Loyola.

At the moment, she is attending the Master in Intellectual Property and Competition in the la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú [Pontifical Catholic University of Peru].
