Sebastian Elías specializes in corporate and commercial law, and corporate compliance.
He counsels Peruvian and foreign companies on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters, as well as on corporate issues for designing the most ecient legal structures for the establishment and development of businesses in Peru in their dierent stages.
He answers inquiries on foreign investment matters, and advises in acquisition and company reorganization operations and business transfer.
Sebastian participates in designing strategies to establish and develop business, and specializes in good corporate governance rules and family companies.
He counsels on the design, review and implementation of crime prevention programs, related to the money laundering prevention system before the Financial Intelligence Unit (SBS), and prevention models in compliance with Law No. 30424 on corporate liability for corruption and money laundering crimes.
Sebastian was International Attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York and assistant professor in the commercial law II course at Universidad de Lima
