Virtual Window of OSINERGMIN was created

On Saturday, May 23, 2020, the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, published the Board of Directors Resolution of OSINERGMIN No. 053-2020-OS/CD, through which the Virtual Window of OSINERGMIN (“VVO”) was created, a computer platform which is made available to the general public as an additional channel for receiving documents addressed to OSINERGMIN. The VVO is located on the institutional web portal of OSINERGMIN.

The Resolution provides the following to make use of the VVO:

• The information must be submitted to authenticate the identity of the administrator, as well as the general information requested in the VVO.
• The administrator may submit as many documents and annexes as they are deemed necessary for the purposes of the procedure to be carried out, following the instructions provided on the platform.
• The VVO shall be enabled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to submit documents; however, only documents submitted between 00:00 and 17:30 hours on a working day shall be deemed to have been filed on the same working day.
• Documents submitted after 17:30 until 23:59 hours, as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays or any other non-working day, shall be deemed to have been submitted on the following first working day.
• An electronic charge is automatically generated representing the receipt record with the submission of documents, which shall be forwarded to the electronic box of the affiliate to the Electronic Notification System (“SNE”) of OSINERGMIN.
• If it is required to produce original documents issued in physical form, these documents must be presented in the presence channels within two working days of their registration with the VVO, by reference to the file number generated on that platform.
• OSINERGMIN shall provide the necessary assistance for the registration and use of the VVO, through the channels of attendance indicated in its institutional portal.

Finally, the provisions of this resolution entered into force on May 25, 2020.
