BCRP eases deadlines for reporting certain information that companies of the financial system must submit to it

Within the framework of the measures ordered by the Government through the D.S. 044-2020 and other related regulations, on March 20, the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (“BCRP”) issued Circular No. 0009-2020-BCRP whereby it considered as suspended during the validity of the State of Emergency, the deadlines established for companies of the financial system to submit the requested information to the BCRP, except for the deadlines that apply to the following information:

  1. Exchange transaction reports referred to in Circular No. 043-2014-BCRP.
  2. Interest rates of the money market reports referred to in Circular No. 0038-2017-BCRP.
  3. Report No. 5 and Annex 15-A referred to in Circular No. 0008-2020-BCRP and Circular No.0031-2019-BCRP on domestic currency and foreign currency reserve, respectively.
  4. Annex No. 6, Form F, Annex No. 15-B, Report No. 3 and Report No. 4 with their respective annexes referred to in Circular No. 040-2018-BCRP and Letter No. 0037- 2018-BCRP on sending financial statements and complementary information through the SIB-FTP System.

In addition, the BCRP ordered that the time limits for receiving the information referred to in the aforementioned regulations shall be more flexible and additional means of communication with said entity shall be established, in coordination with the companies of the financial system.
