New Protocols for Monitoring Effluents in Plants for Direct and Indirect Human Consumption are adopted
Through Ministerial Resolution No. 271-2020-PRODUCE published on Saturday, August 15, 2020, the new Protocols for Monitoring Effluents in Plants for both Direct and Indirect Human Consumption were adopted. This new measure repeals Ministerial Resolution No. 061-2016-PRODUCE which had adopted the previous Protocols.
The owners of the Plants must submit the results of the physical-chemical analysis and the corresponding reports in the frequency and deadlines established to the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency – OEFA; otherwise, they shall be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions set out in Directive Council Resolution No. 038-2017-OEFA/CD.
