By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 310-2023-PRODUCE published today as an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette “El Peruano” of August 12, a catch limit (quota) of 22,000 tons was established, complementary to the one approved by Ministerial Resolution N° 042-2023-PRODUCE and applicable for 2023 to larger scale vessels that have a fishery permit in force for this resource.
The start of extractive activities is effective as of the third day after the resolution is published and ends when the mentioned quota is reached or, failing that, on December 31, 2023.
