New “Guide for the prevention of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the workplace”
The Ministry of Labor has published today this guide in which employers and workers are recommended to take the following actions to prevent and deal with cases of diagnosis or suspected spread of the coronavirus in the workplace:
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is provided that every employer must:
(i) Allow the representatives of the Ministry of Health or other competent authority to enter the workplace facilities in order to identify possible sources of infection.
(ii) Give immediate notice to said authorities in any situation of risk and/or spread.
