Adoption of the implementation of the I.T. Platform called “LPG Sales Premises Monitoring Platform” and the “Verify with Osinergmin” application
Resolution Nº 101-2021-OS/CD (“Resolution“), published on May 28, 2021 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano,” adopted the implementation of the platform called “LPG Sales Premises Monitoring Platform” and the “Verify with Osinergmin” application, the guidelines for its implementation are set out in the Annex to the Resolution.
The purpose of the I.T. platform called “LPG Sales Premises Monitoring Platform” is to provide real-time and geo-referenced information on LPG Sales Premises that are currently registered in the Hydrocarbons Registry and, therefore, carry out their activities in a duly authorized manner.
The “Verify with Osinergmin” I.T. application has the following objectives:
(i) Provide real-time information regarding the means of transportation of liquid fuels, LPG and other hydrocarbons products that are registered in the Hydrocarbons Registry and that, therefore, have obtained the corresponding sectorial authorization.
ii) Provide real-time and geo-referenced information regarding unauthorized hydrocarbon establishments that have been detected in inspection actions carried out by Osinergmin or by personnel from provincial and district municipalities, so that the application contributes to the exercise of the powers of the authorities involved in the fight against informality in the commercialization of hydrocarbons.
These I.T tools are available and accessible from Osinergmin’s Website. The information provided by both applications comes from the information contained in the Hydrocarbons Registry by Osinergmin.
The Regional Supervision Division of Osinergmin’s Energy Supervision Management shall be in charge of the preparation of the User Guides for both tools, which shall be published on Osinergmin’s institutional website.
