José Govea specializes in corporate, commercial and civil matters, and in privacy and data protection laws

José counsels companies and investors on corporate, commercial and civil matters, including the legal structures design for establishing and developing businesses in Peru at their different stages, contracts and other corporate documents drafting, and on consultations on the abovementioned matters.

José’s practice also focuses on privacy and data protection laws, including compliance issues. He also represents clients in administrative proceedings initiated by the Peruvian Data Protection Authority and in ARCO rights requests.

José is part of the Firm’s pro bono team.

José has been an assistant professor of Corporate Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
