We assist national and foreign companies in complaints, claims and conciliations in consumer protection matters. Our team also advises on the review of consumer contracts and labelling of regulated products, in order to verify their compliance with consumer protection and labelling regulations. Our experienced consumer protection team also provides advice and support in procedures for communicating warnings, alerts and recall of products from the market due to unforeseen risks (recall).
We work closely with our clients on the implementation of consumer protection compliance programs, as well as on the training of company personnel, in order to ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
In addition, we help our clients throughout all stages of the administrative procedure for violations of consumer protection regulations before INDECOPI, including the preparation of complaints or defenses – as appropriate -, acquittal of requirements, requests for compliance with mandate, reimbursement of costs and expenses, among others. In addition, we support them in contentious administrative proceedings aimed at questioning the final decisions of the authority on this matter.
