Catch limits set for horse mackerel and mackerel resources for the year 2020
Through Ministerial Resolution No. 025-2020-PRODUCE, published on Saturday, January 18, 2020, the catch limit for horse mackerel (Trauchurus murphyi) and mackerel (Scomber japonicus peruanus) resources was established. In the case of horse mackerel, the limit is 100,000 MT of which 70,000 correspond to the industrial fleet and 30,000 to the small-scale fleet. In the case of mackerel, the limit is 94,000 MT of which 75,200 correspond to the industrial fleet and 18,800 to the small-scale fleet”.
Various articles of the Regulations of the General Aquaculture Law are modified
By means of Supreme Decree No. 002-2020-PRODUCE, published today, Monday, January 20, 2020, the modification of various articles of the Regulation of the General Aquaculture Law was established, which was approved by Supreme Decree No. 003-2016-PRODUCE. Among the topics that are modified, we can highlight the Productive Categories, the Control in the area of Aquatic Animal Health, the Sanitary Authorizations of the Centers of Aquaculture Production, the Regime of Access to the Activity, the Regime of Concessions and Authorizations and the Rights of Aquaculture.
