By Resolution Nº 016-2022-OS/CD («Resolution»), published on January 31, 2022 in the Official Gazette «El Peruano», Annexes 3.1. and 3. 2 of the Regulations of the Hydrocarbons Registry, adopted by Resolution Nº 191-2011-OS-CD («RHO»), were amended in order to align the RHO to the provisions adopted by Supreme Decrees Nº 016-2021-EM and Nº 021-2021-EM that amended the Regulations for the Installation and Operation of Natural Gas Vehicle Retail Establishments, adopted by Supreme Decree Nº 006-2005-EM, and the Regulations for the Commercialization of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), adopted by Supreme Decree Nº 057-2008-EM, respectively.
For these purposes, the Resolution amended the requirements for obtaining the Design and Operation Supervision Certificates applicable to agents that commercialize, transport or consume Compressed Natural Gas or Liquefied Natural Gas, Natural Gas Vehicles -which now includes Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles (CNG-C) and Liquefied Natural Gas Vehicles (LNG-L).
