Tax
Gonzalo La Torre specializes in mining and extractive activities taxation, in the insurance sector, and in fiscal impact on joint ventures.
He counsels clients on the tax regime applicable to their regular operations, including mergers and acquisitions and fiscal planning. He has ample experience in tax planning for Peruvian and foreign investors, tax procedures, special works to determine liabilities and evaluation of tax contingencies.
He participates in tax processes before the tax authority and the Judiciary.
Gonzalo has taught Tax law at Universidad de Lima and Universidad del Pacífico, and regularly participates as speaker in various tax-related forums and authored various legal articles of fiscal interest.
