Hake fishing is suspended to trawlers in the coastal area.
By means of Ministerial Resolution RM No. 131-2020-PRODUCE, published today Friday April 24, the suspension of fishing for the hake resource (Merluccuis gayi peruanus) was ordered for trawlers in the area between 04°40S and 05°00S. The suspension is for 7 calendar days and is effective from 00.00 hours the day after the resolution is published.
Continuity of aquaculture development is guaranteed for holders of restocking authorizations.
By means of Supreme Decree DS No. 008-2020-PRODUCE, published today Friday, April 24, provisions were issued to guarantee the continuity of the aquaculture development for holders of restocking authorizations in marine ecosystems.
