By Ministerial Resolution Nº 008-2022-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” today Friday, January 14, 2022, the second fishery season for anchovy resources (Engraulis ringens) and white anchovy (Anchoa nasus) for the year 2021 and for the north-central zone, between the northern end of the maritime domain and 16°00′ SL is terminated. The completion of the extractive activities is effective from 00.00 hours of the day following the publication of this resolution.
The unloading of the mentioned resources will be allowed within 24 hours of the end of the season and the processing thereof until 48 hours of said conclusion.”
