By Ministerial Resolution Nº 108-2022-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on March 26, 2022, the total maximum catch limit (quota) of the Perico resource (Coryphanea hippurus) was established at 44,311 tons until April 30, 2022.
Extension of the deadline for the execution of exploratory fishery of hake by artisanal vessels
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 1117-2022-PRODUCE published in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on March 30, 2022, the deadline for the execution of exploratory fishery of hake (Merluccius gayi) authorized to IMARPE with the participation of artisanal fishery vessels that have a valid fishery permit is extended.

Amendment of minimum size and maximum catch percentage of juvenile mackerel
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 019-2022-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on March 26, 2022, Annex I of Ministerial Resolution Nº 209-2001-PE was amended, regarding the minimum size and maximum catch percentage of the mackerel resource (Scomber japonicus peruanus) in 29 cm from the fork and 30% maximum tolerance.
