II. IMARPE is authorized to carry out an exploratory fishery of the silverside resource
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 273-2021-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 4, 2021, an exploratory fishery for the silverside resource (Odontesthes regia) is authorized for a period of 15 calendar days or, until 175 tons of allowed catch are reached. The authorization is for individuals or legal entities that have a valid fishery permit to operate artisanal vessels.
III. IMARPE is authorized to carry out Operation Hake XXXIII
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 288-2021-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 21, 2021, IMARPE was authorized to carry out Operation Hake XXXIII from October 5 to 8, 2021 in the area between the northern end of the maritime domain and Punta La Negra (06°00’S). Three titular vessels and one substitute vessel with a fishery permit for the hake resource (Merluccius gayi peruanus) shall participate in the framework of the Provisional Regime established in Ministerial Resolution Nº 174-2021-PRODUCE.
IV. Extension of the deadline for the execution of exploratory fishery of hake with the participation of artisanal vessels
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 292-2021-PRODUCE, published in an extraordinary edition in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 22, 2021, the term of execution of the exploratory fishery of the hake resource (Merluccius gayi peruanus) authorized to IMARPE with the participation of artisanal fishery vessels that have a valid fishery permit was extended. The extension is until December 31, 2021.
V. The reproductive closure of the silverside resource is terminated
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 298-2021-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 28, 2021, the reproductive closure of the silverside resource (Odontesthes regia) established by Ministerial Resolution Nº 259-2021-PRODUCE was terminated, authorizing the restart of extractive activities of said resource from 00.00 hours of the day following the publication of this resolution.
VI. Establishment of catch quota for the bonito resource
By Ministerial Resolution Nº 300-2021-PRODUCE, published in an extraordinary edition in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 29, 2021, a complementary catch quota of 4,666 tons of the bonito resource (Sarda chiliensis chiliensis) was established, applicable to artisanal purse seine fishery vessels with a valid fishery permit.
The authorization is valid from 00:00 hours of the day following the publication of this resolution and shall be divided into 3,000 tons until October 31, 2021 and 1,666 tons from December 1 to December 31, 2021.
By Resolution of the Executive Presidency Nº 048-2021-SANIPES-PE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 28, 2021, Articles 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 31, 32 and 34 of the Regulation of Sanitary Control of Fishery and Aquaculture Activities, adopted by Resolution of the Executive Presidency Nº 036-2020-SANIPES-PE, were amended.
