I. BONITO RESOURCE EXTRACTIVE ACTIVITIES ARE SUSPENDED
By means of Directorial Resolution N° 076-2024-PRODUCE/DGSFS-PA, published in the website of the Ministry of Production on September 8, 2024, the extractive activities of the bonito resource carried out with purse seine vessels of up to 20 m3 of well capacity were suspended, starting at 00.00 hours on September 9.
II. IMARPE IS AUTHORIZED FOR EXPLORATORY FISHERY OF THE BONITO RESOURCE
By Ministerial Resolution N° 363-2024-PRODUCE, published on September 8, 2024 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, an exploratory fishery of the bonito resource was authorized from 00.00 hours of the day after the resolution was published, for a period of 30 calendar days or until 750 tons of catch are reached.
III. MACKEREL EXTRACTIVE ACTIVITIES ARE TERMINATED
By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 366-2024-PRODUCE, published on September 10, 2024 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, the extractive activities of the horse mackerel resource were terminated as of 00.00 hours of the day following the publication of the resolution, for artisanal fishery vessels that use curtain and other passive and larger scale fishery gears.
IV. FISHERY QUOTA FOR THE PERICO RESOURCE IS ESTABLISHED
Through Ministerial Resolution N° 389-2024-PRODUCE, published on September 27, 2024 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, the Total Maximum Catch Limit per Vessel (quota) of the perico resource was established at 59,000 MT, applicable to the period from October 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. Fishery will be carried out in three periods: i) from October 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024 with 11,800 MT, ii) from December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025 with 44,250 MT and; iii) from March 1, 2025 to April 30, 2025 with 2,950 MT.
V. DEEP SEA COD EXTRACTIVE ACTIVITIES ARE TERMINATED
By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 392-2024-PRODUCE, published on September 28, 2024 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, the extractive activities of the horse mackerel resource were terminated as of 00.00 hours of September 29, 2024.
VI. IMARPE IS AUTHORIZED TO CARRY OUT EXPLORATORY FISHERY OF THE PEJERREY RESOURCE
By Ministerial Resolution N° 394-2024-PRODUCE, published on September 28, 2024 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, an exploratory fishery of the pejerrey resource was authorized for a period of 15 calendar days or until 120 tons are reached.
VII. AUTHORIZATION FOR ARTISANAL VESSELS TO FISH HORSE MACKEREL
By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 396-2024-PRODUCE, published on September 30, 2024 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, artisanal vessels with a capacity of up to 10 m3 were authorized to fish jack mackerel until December 31, 2024 and for a total of 2,806 tons.
I. PROTOCOL FOR EFFLUENT MONITORING OF INDUSTRIAL FISHERY ESTABLISHMENTS FOR DIRECT AND INDIRECT HUMAN CONSUMPTION IS MODIFIED
By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 385-2024-PRODUCE published on September 21 in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, paragraphs 6.7.3.2, 6.7.4, 6.8.3 and 6.8.5 of point 6 of the Protocol for Effluent Monitoring of Industrial Fishery Establishments for Direct and Indirect Human Consumption, approved by Ministerial Resolution N° 271-2020-PRODUCE, were modified.
II. MEASURES TO PREVENT, DISCOURAGE AND ELIMINATE ILLEGAL, UNREPORTED AND UNREGULATED FISHERY ARE ESTABLISHED
Through Supreme Decree N° 014-2024-PRODUCE published in an extraordinary edition of September 25, 2024, measures were established to prevent, discourage and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishery carried out by foreign flag vessels that carry out fishery activities of highly migratory, straddling or transboundary hydrobiological resources in the high seas adjacent to the maritime domain.
In general terms, these provisions establish the obligation for these vessels to have the Satellite Tracking System or an approved one, installed and operational at all times in order to enter Peruvian ports under any mode of operation or service.
III. MODIFICATION OF THE LAW CREATING SANIPES
By means of Legislative Decree N° 1672 published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 28, 2024, several articles of the Law of creation of the National Agency of Fisheries Health – SANIPES – Law N° 30063 were amended.
IV. COMPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS FOR ARTISANAL VESSELS WITH FISHERY PERMITS UNDER DS 006-2016-PRODUCE WERE ESTABLISHED
By Ministerial Resolution N° 395-2024-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 30, 2024, complementary provisions were established for compliance with Supreme Decree N° 003-2023-PRODUCE for owners of artisanal vessels with fishery permit obtained under numeral 6.2 of Article 6 of Supreme Decree N° 006-2016-PRODUCE.

By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 350-2024-PRODUCE published in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 2, 2024, Ms. Tatyana Jesús del Río Sulca was appointed as Advisor II in the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Production.
II. APPOINTMENT OF ADVISOR II IN THE GENERAL SECRETARIAT
By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 353-2024-PRODUCE published in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on September 2, 2024, Mr. Manuel Eduardo Bocanegra Moya was appointed as Advisor II at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Production.
III. APPOINTMENT OF ADVISOR II IN THE GENERAL SECRETARIAT
By means of Ministerial Resolution N° 370-2024-PRODUCE published in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette “El Peruano” of September 16, 2024, Mr. Héctor Javier Olazabal Napurí was appointed as advisor II at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Production.
