I. Beginning of the First Fishing Season of the Anchovy and White Anchovy resource in the maritime domain area is authorized.
Ministerial Resolution No. 587-2018-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 2, 2019 authorizes the beginning of the First Fishing Season of the Anchovy (Engraulis ringens) and White Anchovy (Anchoa nasus) in the maritime area between parallels 16°00’ SL and southern end of the Peruvian maritime domain for the January-June 2019 period from January 8 until reaching the authorized Total Maximum Allowable Catch Limit in the South Zone (TMACL South) or otherwise, until June 30, 2019.
II. Catch Limit of the Tuna Resource for period 2019 is established
Through Ministerial Resolution No. 003-2019-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 8, 2019, the Catch Limit of the Tuna resource (Sarda chiliensis) for period 2019 is established at sixty four thousand (64,000) tons, this limits applies to the extraction activities that are carried out by artisanal vessels as authorized by their administrative law. The Catch Limit can be modified by the Peruvian Institute of the Sea –IMARPE where there is evidence of greater availability of the abovementioned marine biological resource.
III. Maximum Allowable Catch Limit of the deep-sea cod resource for 2019 is established
Through Ministerial Resolution No. 007-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 10, 2019, the maximum allowable catch limit of the deep-sea resource (Dissostichus eleginoides) for 2019 is established at one hundred sixty one (161) tons. This catch limit can be modified by the Peruvian Institute of the Sea – IMARPE where there is evidence of greater availability of the abovementioned resource.
IV. Catch Limits of the yellowtail and mackerel resources for year 2019 applicable to the extraction activities carried out by all type of vessels are established
The Ministerial Resolution No. 015-2019-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 17, 2019 establishes the catch limits of the yellowtail resource (Trachurus murphyi) at seventy nine thousand (79000) tons and of the mackerel resource (Scomber japonicus peruanus) at one hundred thirty five (135000) tons. These limits are applicable to the extraction activities carried out by all type of vessels corresponding to year 2019 and can be modified according to the biological and/or environmental factors established by the Peruvian Institute of the Sea – IMARPE and where there is evidence of greater availability of the abovementioned resources.
I. Formalization of the PESCAEduca Intervention Strategy of the National Program “Let’s eat fish” is approved
Executive Coordination Resolution of the National Program “Let’s eat fish” No. 005-2018-PRODUCE/PNACP published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 8, 2019 approves the formalization of the PESCAEduca Intervention Strategy of the National Program “Let’s eat fish”, as an internal management technical document aimed at improving the efficiency of the Program. The publication of the document in the Website of the National Program “Let’s eat fish” is ordered.
II. “Fee Schedule of Technological Services of the Fishing Center for Productive Innovation and Technology Transfer Piura – CITEpesquero Piura” is amended.
Executive Resolution of the Technological Institute of Production No. 019-2019-ITP/DE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 25, 2019 amends the “Fee Schedule of Technological Services of the Center for Productive Innovation and Technology Transfer – CITEpesquero Piura” approved by Executive Resolution No. 200-2016-ITP/DE, including five (5) services related to the provision of technical assistance and training in hydrobiological resources.
III. Publication of draft “Ministerial Resolution that establishes the calculation factor of the fishing rights for the extraction of the eel resource for 2019”
Ministerial Resolution No. 022-2019-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 26, 2019 orders the publication of the draft “Ministerial Resolution that establishes the calculation factor of the fishing rights for the extraction of the eel resource (Ophichthus remiger) for 2019” in the Institutional Portal of the Ministry of Production (www.gob.pe/produce) in order to receive the opinions, comments and/or suggestions of the citizens for thirty business days from January 27 to March 8, 2019.
IV. Catch limits for Jurel and Caballa resources applicable to extractive activities carried out by any type of fleet, corresponding to the year 2019, are established
Through Ministerial Resolution N ° 015-2019-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 17, 2019, the catch limits for the capture for Jurel (Trachurus murphyi) resources are established at seventy-nine thousand (79,000) tons and Caballa (Scomber japonicus peruanus) at one hundred thirty-five thousand (135,000) tons, applicable to extractive activities carried out by all types of fleet, corresponding to the year 2019. These quotas may be modified according to biological factors and/or environmental factors estimates by the Institute of the Sea of Peru – IMARPE and evidence of greater availability of resources.

By means of the Executive Coordination Resolution of the National Program “To Eat Fish” N ° 005-2018-PRODUCE / PNACP, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 8, 2019, the formalization of the PESCAEduca Intervention Strategy of the National Program “To Eat Fish” is approved, as a technical document of internal management, aimed at improving the Program’s operation. Its publication is available on the Web Portal of the National Program “To Eat Fish”.
II. The “Technological Services Tariff of the Center for Productive Innovation and Technological Transfer of Piura Fishing – CITEpesquero Piura” is amended
Through an Executive Resolution of the Technological Institute of Production No. 019-2019-ITP/DE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 25, 2019, the “Technological Services Tariff of the Center for Productive Innovation and Technology Transfer of Piura Fishing – CITEpesquero Piura” is amended and approved by Executive Resolution No. 200-2016-ITP/DE, including five (5) services related to technical assistance and training of hydrobiological chains.

By means of Ministerial Resolution No. 022-2019-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 26, 2019, orders the publication of draft Ministerial Resolution establishing the calculation factor of the fishing right for extraction of the Anguilla resource (Ophichthus remiger) for the year 2019 in the Institutional Portal of the Ministry of Production (www.gob.pe/produce) for receiving opinions, comments and/or suggestions of citizens for a period of 30 working days, from January 27 to March 8, 2019.
IV. Publication of draft “General Directive approving provisions for the confiscation, donation and delivery of hydrobiological resources or products for direct and indirect human consumption during control actions in fisheries and aquaculture activities” is ordered and the Ministerial Resolution adopts it.

Through Ministerial Resolution No. 028-2019-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano” on January 26, 2019, the publication of the draft Supreme Decree approving the Regulation of Law No. 30063, Law on Creation of the National Fisheries Health Agency (SANIPES) and its Statement of Reasons, is ordered in the Institutional Portal of the Ministry of Production (www.produce.gob.pe) for receiving opinions, comments and/or suggestions of the citizens, for a period of ten calendar days, from January 27 to February 5, 2019.
VI. Institutional Strategic Plan 2019 – 2022 is approved by the National Fisheries Development Fund
Through Administrative Resolution No. 006-2019-FONDEPES/J, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 26, 2019, the Institutional Strategic Plan 2019-2022 is approved by the National Fisheries Development Fund and its publication is available in the Institutional Portal of the National Fisheries Development Fund (www.fondepes.gob.pe).
I. Resignation and commission functions of Head of the Supply Unit of SANIPES are accepted
By means of the Executive Presidency Resolution of the National Fisheries Health Organization No. 007-2019-SANIPES-PE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 19, 2019, the resignation presented by Mr. César Augusto Cárdenas Castillo as Head of the Supply Unit of the National Fisheries Health Agency – SANIPES is accepted and the functions of the position are assigned to Mr. Javier Doroteo Alcántara Pasco, in addition to the functions already developed until Board of Directors makes the corresponding appointment.
II. Director of the Sanctions Directorate of the General Directorate for Supervision, Control and Sanctions of the Vice-Ministerial Office of Fisheries and Aquaculture is appointed
Through Ministerial Resolution No. 020-2019-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 22, 2019, Mr. José Luis Díaz Callirgos is appointed as Director of the Sanctions Directorate of the General Directorate for Supervision, Control and Sanctions of the Vice-Ministerial Office of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Ministry of Production.
III. Responsible for the position of General Manager of the National Fisheries Health Agency – SANIPES
By means of the Executive Presidency Resolution of the National Fisheries Health Agency No. 009-2019-SANIPES-PE, published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, on January 22, 2019, the resignation presented by the lawyer José Luis Díaz Callirgos to the position of General Manager of the National Fisheries Health Agency – SANIPES is accepted and the functions of the position are assigned to the CPC Cedilia Victoria Akemi Kuroiwa Pérez in addition to the functions already developed as Head of the Budget and Planning Office until the appointment of the new General Manager.
