Directorial Resolution No. 151-2024-MINEM/DGH, published on May 8, 2024, modifies Directorial Resolution No. 129-2021-MINEM/DGH, which approves the «Guidelines and technical provisions necessary for the preparation of Security Risk Studies and Emergency Response Plans».
The name of the Sole Final Complementary Provision is modified to be considered as the First and the Second Final Complementary Provision is incorporated to the above mentioned Directorial Resolution.
This Second Provision regulates the adequacy of the safety management instruments for the continuity of the Exploration and Exploitation and Hydrocarbon Exploitation Activities, establishing that the Authorized Companies that develop Hydrocarbon Exploration and/or Exploitation activities may continue with their operations by applying the Safety Management instruments, such as Safety Risk Studies and Emergency Response Plans used by the last operator, which have been audited by OSINERGMIN, as long as they contemplate and specify the same activities to be developed in the hydrocarbon facilities.
The Authorized Companies mentioned above, within a maximum term of eighteen (18) months, counted from the subscription of the respective license or service contract, must adapt the Safety Management instruments according to the guidelines approved by the Resolution that is being modified.
