The General Directorate of Rural Electrification of the Ministry of Energy and Mines calls for selection processes for the execution of rural electrification projects
In recent days, the General Directorate of Rural Electrification (DGER) of the Ministry of Energy and Mines has called for selection processes for the execution of 21 rural electrification projects in different provinces of the country.
According to the press release published by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the total investment of the projects will amount to S/. 355,000,000 and will benefit more than 91,000 people in 977 localities in Peru.
These projects are part of the National Rural Electrification Plan and shall be executed in the regions of Ancash, Apurimac, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huanuco, Junin, La Libertad, Loreto, Piura, San Martin and Ucayali.
Some of the main projects to be announced are the following:
- Preparation of the technical file and execution of the project: Expansion of rural electrification in the provinces of Datem del Marañon and Loreto, Loreto region, with an investment of S/.97,518,179.26. This project shall use photovoltaic generation technology, using centralized and individual systems.
- Preparation of the technical file and execution of the project: “Installation of the rural electric service of the localities of sector 1, in the provinces of Melgar, Lampa, Azángaro, San Antonio de Putina and Carabaya – Puno”, with an investment of S/.85,309,195.99. The definition and design of the project shall be proposed by the contractor, based on his field work during the preparation of the technical file, complying with the minimum cost criterion.
- Execution of the work: Installation of the rural electrification system in the Morona, Pastaza, Corrientes and Tigre river basins, border districts of Andoas, Morona, Tigre and Trompeteros, Loreto region, with an investment of S/.59,170,892.91. This project shall use photovoltaic generation technology, using centralized and individual systems.
- Execution of the work: Installation of the rural electrification system in the Napo and Curaray river basin, border districts of Napo and Torres Causana, Loreto region, with an investment of S/.36,816,979.48. This project shall use photovoltaic generation technology, using centralized and individual systems.
- Preparation of the technical file and execution of the project: Expansion of the rural electrification service in the provinces of Leoncio Prado and Marañon in the department of Huanuco and the province of Tocache in the department of San Martin, with an investment of S/.27,222,187.88. The definition and design of the project shall be proposed by the contractor, based on its field work during the preparation of the technical file, complying with the minimum cost criterion.
