On December 7, 2022, Ministerial Resolution Nº 1197-2022-MTC/01.03 («RM 1197») was published in the Official Gazette «El Peruano», which establishes the following parameters regarding the minimum speed for broadband internet access (fixed and mobile):

Likewise, RM 1197 has repealed Ministerial Resolution Nº 482-2018-MTC/01.03, which, at the time, approved the minimum speed for broadband internet access (fixed and mobile), according to the following detail:
