Arbitration

He specializes in international and domestic arbitration, as well as civil litigation. His experience focuses on disputes related to the telecommunications, energy, transportation and construction sectors.

His practice focuses on advising and sponsoring clients in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations under the administration of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL), the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AmCham), ICSID and UNCITRAL, among others. He also has experience assisting arbitral tribunals in domestic arbitrations.

Axel has experience in annulment proceedings in domestic arbitration, as well as in review and annulment proceedings in international forums.

Likewise, he has been a teaching assistant for Arbitration courses at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), as well as for the Negotiation course of the latter university. He has also served as a teaching assistant for the Contracts course at the Universidad del Pacífico (UPC).
