Public Procurement

Our Public Procurement practice specializes in advising clients on complex bidding processes in public tenders, competitive procedures, and other selection mechanisms at both the national and international levels, as well as on the performance and management of contracts with government entities across all levels of public administration.

We represent major players in the Peruvian market in the full range of legal matters that may arise from their participation as government contractors or bidders in public procurement processes. This includes challenging decisions issued during selection procedures, defending clients in administrative sanction proceedings initiated by the authorities for alleged breaches of procurement regulations, and resolving disputes arising from public contracts before dispute boards and arbitral tribunals.

Our team has extensive experience in successfully defending clients in sanctioning procedures and securing the recognition of their rights in arbitration. Moreover, the prior experience of several members of our team at OSCE—the government agency responsible for overseeing public procurement in Peru—provides us with a comprehensive understanding of the approach typically taken by public officials in these matters.
