Alejandro Araujo specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, project finance, capital markets and general corporate and commercial law. 

He advises domestic and foreign companies in the structuring and negotiation of mergers and acquisitions, project finance transactions, corporate financing, financing in the stock market, and corporate reorganizations. 

Alejandro also advises sponsors, financial institutions, multilateral entities and companies in corporate, bilateral and syndicated financing, structured financing, project financing and transactions in the capital markets for various industries. 

He has extensive experience advising buyers, sellers, targets, financial advisors, financiers and others in local and international mergers and acquisitions. 

Alejandro has been an international associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York (2023-2024), working on capital markets transactions, restructurings, financing and M&A transactions. 

He has been assistant professor of the Commercial Law course at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) (2015) and adjunct professor of the Corporate Finance course at Universidad de Lima (UL) (2018-2021).
