Isabel specializes in Economic Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural Law, and Constitutional Law.
Her professional practice includes advising on and executing defense strategies, as well as litigation related to criminal, criminal procedural, and constitutional cases.
She has served as an assistant and adjunct professor in the Criminal Procedural Law course at the Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUCP 2012-2018). She also served as an adjunct professor in the Models of Lawyers course in 2018.
Isabel was Director of Courses and Training at the Themis Civil Association, leading specialized events in Criminal Law, and directed the PUCP's Art & Law collective, promoting cultural initiatives related to law and the arts. In 2024, she conducted research stays as a visiting scholar at the University of Girona (Spain) and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan).
She is the author of the book El delito de feminicidio en el Perú: Análisis crítico de la regulación actual (The Crime of Femicide in Peru: A Critical Analysis of Current Regulations) and of various articles specializing on ethics, criminal law, criminal procedure, constitutional law, and gender, published both nationally and internationally. She actively participates as a speaker and coordinator in courses, seminars, and conferences, consolidating her academic and professional career.
