Notes on the First Technical Evaluation Report of a Prevention Model by the Superintendence of the Securities Market
On September 9, 2025, through the publication of Issue No. 37 of its newsletter on Crime Prevention Models (MPD), the Superintendence of the Securities Market (SMV) announced the release of its first technical report related to the evaluation of an MPD. This represents a significant advance in regulatory compliance in Peru, as it is the first time that the SMV, in its capacity as the technical body responsible for evaluating compliance programs within the framework of criminal proceedings, has issued an opinion on the adequacy of an MPD in a specific case.
