BAN AND AUTHORIZATIONS
- Amendment of Bonito Catch Quota Regulation for the January–April 2026 Period: Through Ministerial Resolution No. 058-2026-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on March 5, provisions were established regarding catch progress and maximum catch limits per fishing trip for artisanal fishing vessels larger than 20 m³ for the January–April 2026 period.
- Establishment of Bonito Catch Quota for the January–June 2026 Period: Mediante Through Ministerial Resolution No. 070-2026-PRODUCE, published in El Peruano on March 14, a catch limit (quota) of 68,367 tons of bonito was established, applicable to artisanal fishing vessels holding a valid fishing permit.
APPOINTMENTS
- Appointment of Advisor to the Ministerial Office of PRODUCE: Through Ministerial Resolution No. 068-2026-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on March 13, Ms. Nathaly Marina Vargas López was appointed as Advisor to the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of Production.
- Assignment of Executive Presidency Functions at SANIPES: Through Supreme Resolution No. 002-2026-PRODUCE, published in El Peruano on March 20, Ms. Susalen María Tang Flores was assigned the functions of Executive President of SANIPES, effective March 25 and for the duration of the absence of the incumbent holder.
