FISHERY CLOSURES AND AUTHORIZATIONS
- AUTHORIZATION FOR THE START OF THE SECOND ANCHOVY FISHERY SEASON IN THE NORTH-CENTRAL ZONE AND AUTHORIZATION OF OPERATION EUREKA: Through Ministerial Resolution No. 368-2025-PRODUCE, published in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 1, the start of the second anchovy fishery season in the north-central zone was authorized, beginning at 00:00 hours on November 7, with a provisional quota of 500,000 tons. Operation Eureka LXXVII was also authorized, with 18 larger-scale vessels (up to 110 m³) and 4 backup vessels, to determine the state of the biomass and evaluate the total quota.
- MODIFICATION OF THE JACKFISH CATCH QUOTA FOR THE PERIOD SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2025: Through Ministerial Resolution No. 372-2025-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 6, the literal g) of numeral 6.1 of article 6 of Ministerial Resolution No. 273-2025-PRODUCE was modified, for artisanal vessels of 10 to 20 m3 establishing 13 tons of catch per trip and two tons of tolerance per trip.
- ANCHOVY CATCH QUOTA ESTABLISHED FOR THE SECOND INDUSTRIAL FISHERY SEASON IN THE NORTH-CENTRAL ZONE: Ministerial Resolution No. 384-2025-PRODUCE, published in the extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 12, established the anchovy catch quota for the second industrial fishery season in the north-central zone at 1,630,000 tons.
- A SUPPLEMENTARY CATCH QUOTA FOR GIANT SQUID (JUMP) FOR ARTISANAL VESSELS: Ministerial Resolution No. 402-2025-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 20, established a supplementary catch quota of 38,859 tons for artisanal fishery vessels, effective from 00:00 hours on November 21 until December 31.
- BONITO CATCH QUOTA MODIFIED FOR THE PERIOD SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2025: Through Ministerial Resolution No. 410-2025-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 29, numeral 1.1 of article 1 of Ministerial Resolution No. 268-2025-PRODUCE was modified and establishes the catch limit of the bonito resource for the period September – December, with an annual quota of 103,874 tons and for the period between December 1 and 31, 2025 in 10,100 tons, for artisanal fishery vessels.
GENERAL REGULATIONS
- MODIFICATION OF GUIDELINES FOR THE ALLOCATION OF THE HIGH SEAS JACKFISH QUOTA GRANTED BY THE SPRFMO: Ministerial Resolution No. 373-2025-PRODUCE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 6, modified section 5.4 of part V of the Guidelines for the Allocation of the High Seas Jack Mackerel Quota granted to the Peruvian State by the SPRFMO, approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 418-2019-PRODUCE.
- VARIOUS PERUVIAN TECHNICAL STANDARDS APPROVED IN THEIR 2025 VERSION: Through Directoral Resolution No. 026-2025-INACAL/DN, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 19, various Peruvian technical standards in their 2025 version were published, for fresh fish, canned fish products, chilled fresh trout, whole or whole gutted trout with or without frozen head, fish fillet block, standard for frozen squid, animal feed, vehicles for land transport of hydrobiological products, among others.
APPOINTMENTS
- APPOINTMENT OF ADVISOR TO THE MINISTERIAL OFFICE: By Ministerial Resolution No. 396-2025-PRODUCE published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on November 14, Ms. Mariela Pilar Castillo Núñez was appointed as advisor to the ministerial office of the Ministry of Production.
