Advises companies, developers, and financial and multilateral institutions on project finance, with a focus on the infrastructure and energy sectors.
He is involved in acquisition and sale processes, particularly of projects, as well as in the design and implementation of corporate and structured financing. Additionally, he advises companies on reorganization processes, corporate governance regulation, and other strategic matters.
He has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He worked as an associate at Clifford Chance in Washington, D.C. for three years. In 2006, he was selected to join the infrastructure group of General Electric & Co.
Fernando is recognized as one of the most prominent lawyers in the Peruvian legal market by prestigious international publications such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal), and International Financial Law Review, among others.
He is also a professor of the Corporate Law course (Sociedades Anónimas) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
