Francisco Baldeon specializes in civil law, corporate law and data protection. 

He provides comprehensive advice to companies and investors on civil, corporate, and commercial matters. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, as well as civil and commercial contracts. 

Francisco advises on the structuring and negotiation of legal vehicles for business organization and development, divestiture and value-added transactions, and corporate reorganizations. He also assists with corporate governance and investor relations matters. 

He is an expert in the analysis of commercial, corporate, contractual, and civil liability disputes. He has participated in arbitrations related to corporate, commercial, and investment matters, both domestic and international. He also advises clients on compliance with privacy and data protection regulations and represents clients in audits and administrative proceedings before the Directorate of Personal Data Protection. 

Francisco served as secretary of the working groups formed by the Ministry of Justice to reform the General Companies Law in 2014 and 2017, and as a member in 2024. 

He is a professor of Corporate Law at the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
