New labor provisions applicable to the private sector for APEC are published
Supreme Decree N°123-2024-PCM was published today, which declares the following:
1. For Monday, November 11, Tuesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
- Companies may implement the telework modality, provided that there is an agreement between the parties, in accordance with current regulations.
2. For the non-working days APEC (Thursday 14, Friday 15 and Saturday November 16, 2024)
- The geographical scope of the non-working days is extended to the province of Huaral.
- It is added to the list of companies that were entitled to determine the jobs excluded from the non-working days to those that provide the following services:
- Fishing
- Terrapuertos
- Hotels and lodging establishments
- Restaurants
- Companies of the financial system and other financial services
- Also exempted from the non-working days are those indispensable tasks, in any entity or company, whose paralyzation endangers people, security, the supply or conservation of goods or prevents the immediate resumption of the ordinary activity of the entity or company.
