The General Directorate of Port Authorities and Coast Guard (DICAPI) issued Directorial Resolution No. 603-2025-MGP/ DICAPI, which approves the procedures and forms for quarterly departure, departure declaration, and arrival declaration in person for nationally flagged vessels engaged in fishery, recreational boating, tourism, bay traffic, powered watercraft, offshore facility supply, and tugboats. - Quarterly departure: Maximum validity of 3 months, free procedure in 24 hours, only with valid certificates.
- Departure declaration: Authorization to depart for a specific destination, procedure in 2 hours, sworn statement and mandatory on board.
- Arrival declaration: Submission within 24 hours of entering port; if different from the authorized destination, justification must be provided.
- Inspection: Supervision by the Coast Guard Operations Command.
- Effective date: August 6, 2025.
The update seeks to standardize and streamline procedures, reinforcing navigation safety and protection of the aquatic environment.
