Ernesto Cárdenas specializes in labor and employment matters, including employment contracts, immigration, collective bargaining and social security.

He advises companies in the hiring of both domestic and foreign personnel, social security matters, labor cost optimization, salary planning, and termination of employment relationships. He also provides counsel on collective bargaining, labor inspections, and represents clients in administrative and judicial proceedings related to his area of expertise. 

Ernesto is a professor at the Graduate School of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and at Universidad ESAN. He has been assistant professor in several labor law courses at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) (2003-2004). 

He has been recognized in the Labour & Employment section of the international guide Chambers & Partners Latin America and in Legal 500.
